By accessing or using NextStep ("the Service"), operated by NextStep ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

NextStep is a business process management platform that allows users to create, run, and track step-by-step processes, workflows, and checklists. The Service is available via the web at getnextstep.io.

3. Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account and password
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay the applicable fees for your chosen plan
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice
  • You may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase or renewal. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method

5. Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period. At the end of the trial, your account will require a paid subscription to continue using premium features. We will not charge you without your consent.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others
  • Transmit harmful, offensive, or malicious content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your own content.

9. Guest Access

The Service allows you to invite guests to participate in processes. You are responsible for ensuring that any guests you invite comply with these Terms. Guest access is provided at no additional cost, and guests are not required to create an account.

10. Availability and Modifications

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NextStep shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which NextStep operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
